The Kids Champ Boxing program is a learn to box style program that teaches boys and girls basic Olympic style boxing techniques with cardio calisthenics and core strength conditioning, including:
- shadow boxing
- heavy bag punching
- combination punching techniques
- blocking and defence
- footwork and coordination
- partner training
- controlled sparring
The goal of Kids Champ Boxing is to empower every kid to feel confident and create an environment where they feel accepted, while experiencing the benefits of sport and exercise. Sport has the powerful ability to improve academic performance, nurture relationships, and instil leadership skills and self-discipline. In this program every kid is a champ, and there is always somebody in their corner. Coaches are Canadian Amateur Boxing Association certified.
First-time registration includes a boxing kit. Boxing kits include boxing gloves, hand wraps, skipping rope, mouth guard, and gym bag, and can be purchased individually if your champ’s original boxing kit needs to be replaced.

15% family membership discount applies to two or more family members who live at the same address and are registered in Kids Champ Boxing, Boxing Fitness, or both.
This program qualifies for third party funding from organizations such as KidsSport and Canadian Tire Jumpstart.

Youth are required to present a valid medical form (annual medical exam) if they want to learn to spar in the boxing ring. This is optional and occurs in weeks seven and eight. Clothing that allows for easy movement and exercise is recommended and clean athletic shoes are required for all training programs.
